What is the Dera Bassi campus of Thapar University? Is there any difference in their placements?

Thapar has started BE Computer Science and Engineering at Dera Bassi. It is a good stream to study in and better than Computer Engineering offered at Patiala. It is a 2+2 year program (first 2 years at DB and last 2 at Patiala), placements would from Patiala campus. No difference in placements.
