What is the CGPA required for placements in good companies?

Getting placed in a company is independent of your cgpa!
Good Companies don’t put barrier or set up a benchmark above which your cgpa should fall..
Having cgpa above 8.5 is great but you must not have any back logs, that’s the only constraint..
They are looking for skills, it will be better if the question be, what technical skills do I need to have to get placed ?
