Never worry about the package when you wanna build a Career. Just focus on what you are really interested and thrive to achieve that particular goal. Worse comes worse, you will always be guaranteed an offer from any of the mass recruiting firms like Accenture,Infosys,TCS,CTS.. etc, irrespective of your Stream/branch. On an average, these mass companies offer a package of 3.3lpa to as high as 4lpa.
Since these are mass recruitment organizations, roughly 60% of the students are offered a job in either 1 or 2 or some times 3 offers, in which case gets to choose only one of them. Considering all these factors, one can be sure of grabbing an offer of employment of approximately 3.5lpa, which can be called the “Average Package”.
