What is reputation of VIT (Vellore Institute of technology) for doing ms in us?

There is a lot repo of VIT….being a x vitian it hurts when some ppl in front of you behave like that really they don’t know about the college,though it is true that some working illiterate in north India specialy in Civil and mechanical field don’t know well about the college.Talking about its international reviews vitains are almost in every top colleges of US including MIT to Carnegie Mellon….main reason of the repo is because of its FFCS and the band score they gave after your every cat and termend. If you have plans to go for masters abroad then VIT does have a petty good reputation abroad. They also encourage exchange programs and they do have a tie-up with Purdue University if I am not wrong. Some universities abroad have tie-ups with VIT and hence they will take you the moment they see VIT in your resume so it does help but again if you have your eyes on the IVY League then it won’t really make a difference
