Well if you come to VIT, then you should not expect much from the word “Freedom”.
The hostel In Time for boys is 9pm on weekdays and 9.30 on Saturday. ( for freshers is 9pm throughout the week)
Library is open till 12:30am and your attendance can be taken there as well.
The hostel intime for girls is 8:30pm on weekdays and 8pm on saturday and sunday and other holidays.
Any type of Public display of Affection shall be treated as an offence and you can be penalised for that. Even boys and girls walking hand in hand are caught by the security guards and questioned.
Now we have cameras in every corridor of some of the buildings. So no freedom within the buildings as well. ( All this matters only if you are coming to have “fun”. Else no issues)
The labs are well maintained.
