What is it like to be inside MS Ramaiah IT? Is there an Internet facility available? How many clubs and co-curricular activities are involved? Will it be better to go for CS with MSRIT over BIT?

Hi. I am a CSE student from MSRIT and it is an amazing college with a great campus. I personally didn’t like the BIT campus very much (when i wrote my COMEDK 4 long years ago in that college).

Regarding internet in the MSRIT, all labs have LAN connection and some of them even have their own WiFi ( The CS lab for instance! 😀 ). And there is common WiFi available throughout the campus (though it doesn’t work in all the places in the campus).

And coming to clubs and co-curricular activities in MSRIT, there are plenty of clubs and events!

Some of main clubs are:

1. IEEE Club
2. NSS (National Social Service Scheme): They conduct various events, such as blood donation camps , summer camp to go teach in schools, tree plantation drives, awareness events and many other events.
