Dude remember one thing in your life “Every branch in college is difficult in its own way”.
(But dude I think ECE is more difficult than any other branch :P. But you have to go ahead in life and respect that you are learning something new here, something skillful,something challenging that’s why no one dares to take it in first place but you did it, so prove it, prove it to yourself.)
For your other question i.e how is it like to be in VIT….
I want to share some points from my other answer:
PROS
- Vit is a very good college , it’s above many iits and nits
- Vit has very good infrastructure
- Very good environment,greenry all over the campus
- Best world class labs.
- Best fest twice every year that are way above for too many college’s
- Good faculties
- Proctor system-May be helpful sometime
- Great placement- better then some IITs and NITs.
- Sports and clubs for students
- FFCS system.
- Best shuttle facilities inside campus
- Exam pattern.
- Systematic work.
- Some good hostels.
- Food and night canteens.
- Research papers
- Publications
- Library and great features
- Almost everything is online in VIT which makes easy for students to get through.
- Internet connection almost everywhere.
- Very much good english- in VIT your english will defiantly improve , you will feel more and more confident while interacting with people.
- In VIT Your Interpersonal skills will improve for sure.
- You will get sudden change in your presentation skills.
- You will get more and more creative.
CONS
- Very much restrictions
- Too many students in same batch
- Too much crowded
- Some hectic submissions
- Exams.
- Hostlers are not allowed to have bikes or cars
- Worst thing- hostel in time
- Too many permissions to take for small events or small things.
- Girls have much more restrictions then boys but They can roam from one girl hostel to another but boys are not able to visit any other boys hostel after in time
- Guards are very strict specially the red tag one’s
- Huge fines – some fines may lead to you exit from VIT.
- Vit even have sniffer dogs to catch drinks or drugs inside hostel
- Restricted items allowed inside hostels
- Frequent checking of rooms by guards.
- Parents are not even allowed to hostel rooms.
- For everything you have to get receipt.
- Too much crowd in library at exam time.
- Slow internet. 😛
