you actually get close to the teachers and handle the class . you will be given responsibility for the smooth running of the batch . and you feel proud actually to be a class representative . it is you who will be more close to the college authorities and you do have a upper hand in results ( in some cases). in short , go for being a CR .
i am one of the CR of my batch . and i actually feel like yes i have been given some responsibility to carry out a work and look after the smooth running of all classes
