What happens to the CSE seats in KIIT when students, who opted for CSE during counselling leave for better colleges?

Each candidate will be getting a booklet filling their branch preference according to their choice. So if one leaves their respective branches, then the next higher rank having the same preference of your branch will b getting the same. It’s just like booking a railway ticket. Suppose your ticket is confirmed and you don’t wanna travel and so you cancel the booking. Then the waiting list will get upgraded and the person having waiting list 1 will get your seat and this process continues.
