What happens during counselling? Nothing, you’d probably be sitting on a chair in your home, BECAUSE IT’S ONLINE.
So just fill your choices, lock it, and wait in anticipation. Once you get the college, report to the college (it is mandatory, whether you want to take admission or not). If you aren’t satisfied, go for round II. Most of the time you get a better college. Repeat the process of reporting to your new college.
Once you’re satisfied with the college. Go for Admission.
Here’s what happened during my admission. Reported to the undergraduate dept. on the given date. Filled the forms. Deposited the Bond (had already with me, as you have to get it attested by Gazetted officer). Filled fee receipt. Went to bank to deposit the fee. Came back and handed over the receipt. Got a date for Medical examination. Admission complete. Demanded hostel form, right then. Filled it and deposited in the hostel. Paid hostel fee. Returned to my hometown after a busy day. Reported again on the said date. Aced the medical examination. Got date of commencement of course. Reported to Hostel warden. Got room no. and keys. Returned home. After five days, said goodbye to home, family and friends. And moved to this new place to start a New Life.
