- Lack of professionalism and very low EQ in faculty-staff and even some top management officials: Very rude, bullying tactics, simply cannot believe them especially where money is concerned. Lots of regional and caste politics.
- Crowd: Too many students being taken in, esp in Vellore. How can faculty-student ratio be maintained with so many students and from where will facilities come to hold classes and labs for all of them? How can you teach such big batches?
- Money-mindedness: everything is about money here. They don’t care about anything else.
- Socially regressive attitudes: People here have a very conservative, small-town attitude towards many things. Women’s safety is something they hide behind but everything is about patriarchal mindset to pull females back into taking care of the home and not be too ambitious. They only acknowledge and encourage yes-people who always praise them and their policies, don’t rock the boat, and who fall in with their ideas of how gender and other caste rules should be.
