See most of the courses at DU are non-professional simple undergraduate courses(barring exceptions like:-Business Economics, BMS) so generally students after passing out do following things:-
- All the way to coveted Nagars of Delhi – Mukherjee Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, GTB Nagar etc. – for SSC, Bank PO, UPSC coachings. But one who cracks it(especially UPSC) = life set and bright future – but few cracks it.
- Higher Education – Two types –
- First – Simple Higher Education- Not many opt it and students who opt it are mostly girls because in Indian Society the day a boy passes out from the college he instantly out of the blues becomes man from boy – literally with in a day it happens, the day he gives his last finals exam he is by the divine intervention of Family got promotion and becomes men and now he is expected to do a job so he picks the road towards coveted Nagars of Delhi.
- Second – CA, MBA (from good college) type Higher Education- this category work hard for this and some succeeds = bright career.
- Placements – Again very minority of students belongs to this category as only couple of courses provides for placements option and not everybody gets good placement.
