The answer is …. Depends on your plans. If you are looking for a job prospect and pay scales then Design is a little risky field as it’s comparatively quite less paying than IT, Software and Finance.
There are great fields which pay a lot but the percentage is very low, a person with a B.Tech from any random college would end up earning more than you.
Hardly 5–10% niftians can match this level, if they are lucky. I personally am earning quite more than others but it’s only me, few are there who are making money more than me but lesser than me is a large number.
I work in exports and believe me it’s not at all a good place to work, you need to be really good , persuasive and exceptional to servive…. Still there is no guarantee.
A lot of students do not even get jobs and end up having a sad struggle. So if you are planning to go for design graduation do go for masters after dat, that’s the thing which will make you stand in the front row….. masters from a gud college like IIT, NID etc. but then again chose specialisation accordingly
