Here’s my story of studying in a Tier3 college, better to say from Tier-4.
1) The worst thing is that when you are in final year and you still don’t know nothing about how IT industry works and what are there needs and expectations.
Now, when a relative tell them a brief on how programming or C/C++ was important from the very day 1, they say ohh!! fuck, perhaps I should have studied then , but these smart people forget the sins they did -stalking girls, boozing and smoking. (BELIEVE ME!!THEY ARE STUDENTS IN FINAL YEAR WHO COULDN’T EVEN CODE A FACTORIAL )
The big picture is, in a TIER-3 college, most of the students do not know what they are doing, why they are doing and what will be the outcomes of what they are doing. One early morning, I got a call from my classmate to whom I didn’t talk to since last three years and I in my deep sleep answering his question “Arre bhai!! Should I go to Navy or not, Mera paper clear hogya he”
2 ) I knew what I have to do,where I have to go and I have achieved some outstanding achievements which college had utilized well to publicise it and elevate their market- Briefing my achievements in newspaper, hoarding in campus, pictures on notice board.
Yeah !! It feels good, you are the dude -every girl is watching 😀
But the sad part is, the whole crowd isolates you since you are not working on the similar lines, and they tend to hate you, taunt you, even compare with you and try to show how cool their life is, and how ridiculous my life is if i m not boozing or smoking.
