What are the top MBA colleges based on packages?

1. Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, Delhi

Considered to be the best Return on Investment B-school ,Placement 2016 at FMS Delhi saw the crossing of a barrier of Rs.20 lacs both in the median and average salary offered to its students while the highest salary went up to Rs 66 lacs!

2. Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore

More than 160 companies made 450 offers at IIM Bangalore final placement 2016 for the PGP 2014-16 programmes. The average annual salary of the 2014–16 postgraduate programmes went up by over Rs. 2 lacs compared to the previous batch in the final placements.

3. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad

IIM Ahmedabad students of PGP 2014-16 batch have grabbed 39% higher International Package of Rs.1.02 crore as compared to last year which stood at Rs. 73.89 lacs. IIM Ahmedabad revealed that while there is a spurt in higher international packages, the domestic pay packages reduced by Rs. 5 lacs as the maximum domestic placement package in 2016 stood at Rs.48 lacs as compared to Rs.53 lacs in 2015.

4. Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta

The average domestic salary this year for the domestic segment was Rs. 16.4 lacs per annum. The highest domestic salary was in the range of Rs. 65-Rs. 70 lacs per annum, offered by a leading international investment bank. Also, Mckinsey offered the profile of an Associate to a student, which is higher than what is normally offered at IIMs.

5. XLRI Jamshedpur

Final Recruitment process at XLRI saw participation from 132 recruiters, inclusive of 36 first time recruiters making 386 offers for a batch of 361 students. The median salary offered to the batch is INR 18.00 lacs per annum while the average is INR 18.5 lacs per annum both an increase over last year.

6. Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi

Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi concluded final placement 2016 even as a total of 30 top companies offered multiple jobs to many passing out graduates at the campus. While the average annual domestic package for the students was Rs 12.6 lacs, the highest annual package stood as high as Rs 18 lacs, the institute said.

7. Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow

IIM Lucknow has achieved 100% placement in 3 days for the entire batch of 446 students in its final placement 2016. The highest domestic package was 32 lacs and the average salary being Rs 18 lacs.

8. Indian Institute of Management, Indore

Indian Institute of Management Indore has managed to achieve 100 percent placements for the PGDM batch. The average annual compensation offered in this function was INR 16.44L.

9. Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode

Placement season 2016 at IIM Kozhikode continued the trend of increasing average salary being offered to the students at INR 17.1 lacs per annum, a growth of 12% from previous year

10. National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai

Placement season 2016 at NITIE Mumbai continued the trend of increasing average salary being offered to the students at INR 16.6 lacs per annum, and highest being 37 lacs.
