What are the quality needed to become good computer Engineer?

As per your manager you should know the whole Universe.I feel below are the qualities of a good computer engineer –
1. Passion and patience of problem solving,debugging and troubleshooting skills.
2.Thinking ability – think differently, think from different angles like if the solution is feasible within the available infrastructure and available resource.Short term and long term impact of your action.
3.Expressing yourself – you have to convince the management how efficient your solution is and how this is going to add value to the project in terms of cost,risk associated and time factor.
4.Adaptability – should learn new technology, new business/problem domain quickly (some people expect over the night! Ideally in a logical time frame)/new people/new culture/new policy
5. Being ethical – yes it is important.
