For the first year, you will have common classes, i.e each class will have people from several branches and everybody has a common syllabus, so you study the same thing. The time table is very lenient compared to other universities.
So here we go. You get a minimum of 3 half days in a week, if you are lucky, you get 4. A half day means only 3–4 hours of classes, not more than that. and these classes will be in succession, so you can have the other half of the day completely free. Do as you like.
Regarding full days, its 3–4 hours of studies, and 3 hours of lab. Even a full day feels like a half day as you can finish up a lab in half an hour or an hour, pretty much depends on you. And the labs are pretty interesting, so it doesn’t feel tedious and boring.
On a full day, classes start at 8, continue till 10. Then half an hour break. Then classes again till 11:30 or 12:30, depending on your time table. Then 1 and a half hour lunch break, sometimes 2 and a half. Then lab from 2 to 5. That’s it. Sometimes labs may be in the morning and classes in the afternoon.
