What are the departments presently existing at IIT Patna?

There are ten (10) departments namely, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Chemistry, Department of Mathematics, Department of Physics, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.
In addition to above there are three (03) centers in IIT Patna namely Centre for Energy & Environment, Centre for Strategic Materials Centre of Excellence on Advanced Systems Engineering .
