VIT has got a lot of teams which participate on national as well as international scale. These teams make their own bot/car which they present in these competitions and has won a lot of laurels for the University.
These teams in general require students from all branches to work on their respect departments but mechanical students have a major role in every team. Their designing, automation and mainly their thought process is put to test while working in a team.
Also the team work and management skills that you might pick up while working may amuse the HR while you flaunt about yourself during the placements.
The choice of your team depends on your specific interest in the type of bot/car (F1, ATV, electic cars, robots).
Being a member will definitely teach you things that books can’t.
