I’m writing this just after completing my first Physiology practical. And whew, what an experience it was!
Anyways, I ended up getting 163/180 in Physics NEET 2018, and 101/120 in JEE-M 2018, so I believe I’m qualified enough to answer this question. ( For just the books, skip to the end of this answer)
I, honestly speaking, never touched the NCERT for my conceptual studies, no ways. The problem with NCERT for Physics is that everything is given pretty well but it’s too abstract to be read, and by the time you’re halfway through the chapter, you feel so drained and bored that you feel like flinging the book away. It happens…….. nothing to worry about that.
So, I think ( this is purely my opinion) , For concepts I found HC Verma to be very good for concepts. Of course, now ( i.e the beginning of December) you don’t have the time to sit and solve all of HCV’s problems, but you can still go through theory. You may not get what he says at the first read itself, but read and reread , and slowly you’ll understand the beauty of the book. This is purely for concepts.
