Though it depends on your interest, here every course is kind of similar in terms of standards. As far as computer and electrical courses (especially ECE), you will have a lot of companies to sit on in the final year. Mechanical, Civil have their own sort of companies. As far as Biotechnology, Chemical are concerned, you will have relatively less number of companies. But, that’s secondary. It all depends on how you study, what you wanna become at last. Interest and pursuit matters more than anything. Don’t take a department just for good salaries. Take it only if you’re interested in it.
