What are the advantages of the BITS Pilani Tag?

Here are some:

1. People who know about BITS will treat you good and take your opinions seriously.
2. People who don’t know about BITS, once they find out what BITS is, will do same as I mentioned in point 1.
3. BITS has a very good name abroad too, be it industry or academia.
4. Even if you screw your academics heavily, there will be a high chance that you will find something later (and good) based on the BITS brand name.
5. You can brag about it.
6. This I heard from someone, that if you do some startup (in India) then there is a very good chance to get funding based on the BITS brand. This could be due to many successful entrepreneurs from BITS.
7. In IIMs and any other place if there is a criteria of being from a premier institute then there you have another advantage of being a BITSian.
