- The faculty – Several of them struggle with English and have horrid presentation skills. Sitting through most classes is a drag. What makes matters worse is that some of them aren’t confident enough in their knowledge. That combined with poor English makes one wonder how they were even hired.
Many classes don’t serve the purpose – motivating to learn, encouraging curiosity or even delivering facts any better than a book can.
- Certifications = better syllabus – If one bothers to research the syllabus at VIT and that of other top private universities, they’d not find much difference. The certifications that they advertise (like ABET) don’t mean that VIT has a better curriculum than others, although it is good in other ways if you end up in that branch.
