Okay this question got me thinking.Lets list it out:-
These are the clichéd ones:-
1)No drugs,alcohol abuse.The authorities really screw you.Not even condoms
2)Not taking exams seriously.Here Rancho types don’t really work out.From quizzies,internal exams and all.
3)Going for fight,battle of words to authorities(teachers,HoD’s Hostel Warden).See,they are there to keep you safe and to look after you,in the absence of parents.You don’t really want to have bad blood with them,they can screw your academic (marks and grades)and hostel room allotment(giving you room choice,that you haven’t asked for).They won’t listen to your complaints/issues,because you are a bad guy,in their eyes and not worth listening to you.
4)Fighting with friends/hostellers-See,they are like you,a teenager,with pent up anger(usually).Going for any scene with them,will provoke unexpected reactions.Again,hostel authorities have to step in,screwing you yet again.
