What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at Ramaiah Institute of Technology?

  1. Make good friends
  2. Enjoy engineering life
  3. Keep in touch with all lectures
  4. 1st two sem is really important ,Because If u keep >9.5 sgpa In first 2 sems it will help you if you want to change branch
  5. If you don’t have idea of changing branch then try for good grade don’t stress yourself
  6. Be good to all teachers.Don’t behave like how you were there with your PU teachers.Lectures are little strict
  7. Participate in events and be volunteer for the events and get the certificate.Because it is mandatory to get one certificate from curriculum and one from extra curriculum.
  8. Meet the seniors and keep good contacts.
  9. If you are interested in National Service Scheme (NSS) join in the 1st year itself.Because to get the certificate you have to be in NSS for 2 years. So my suggestion join 1st and 2nd year complete it. It adds value to (curriculum/extra curriculum)
  10. Enjoy each and every moment as well as be good at studies
