SRM hides tons of dark secrets behind its PR stunts and it is literally a front for money laundering. The chancellor is involved in lobbying for the govt. They loot students im whatever way they can.
During the pandemic they forced students to pay exam fees of 4k+ and when students sent in ugc complaint they started making money online excuses about how they have to pay the staff and maintain the campus. A day or 2 before this response they flaunted on LinkedIn about a donation of 1.2 crores to the Tamil Nadu govt. If they were so low on funds why did they donate money to the govt that is involved with the chancellar pachamuthu?!
They force students to pay for shit illegally and threaten to not give final year students their important certificates (provisional, no due etc) if they don’t pay. They are forcing students to pay for alumni association fees. Joining the alumni association is a choice and its optional but they make it compulsory so they can loot money during the pandemic.
This just covers the surface of how corrupt and selfish they are. For them education is just a front for corruption.
