What are factors of guidance and counseling in primary school?

In primary school, often counselors and social workers help children with social situations that they might not know how to navigate. Not all children innately know how to break into play, negotiate playground equipment and share with others. The counselors are also available if the families need advice, and to look out for the well being of the children in general.
