What advice would you give a first year VIT mechanical student? Teachers subjects chapters?

You’ll spend most of the time adjusting to your new schedule, hostels and the new culture. As you know VIT has FFCS for course selection i.e you can select your own teachers and classes but as it is your first semester in VIT yur faculty adviser will make the time table for you. There are some things which you’ll get to know after joining VIT (how things happen, which rules can be bended, which cannot be) As far as the chapters go you cannot officially join a chapter before October so you ample time to see which chapter is suitable for you.
