Both of the answers are quite true.
If you opt for the campus hostel, you will be delighted for initial few weeks of mountain scenery and then you will start missing the city life. Placements are quite good enough but it is not sure that you will be placed in core sector and if you get placed once, you will be out from the placement session whether you make it for 2 LPA or 3 LPA and if some other big company arrives for placement with high packages and even if you are eligible, you can not be sit for that company.
Either you maintain your CGPA above 3.2/4.0 to get eligible, or struggle your rest of your life.
Fees are quite high as compared to other universities. They have MoU with Dell and IBM for IT and CS Placements.
