Well yes if you want to study in VIT and have good ranking which will ensure the stream you want. Since you are asking this I’m assuming you don’t know much about VIT.
VIT is a university where you can excel and have ample opportunity to showcase your talents. VIT gives you the exposure you need in terms of Guest lectures, makeathon etc. VIT has this feature called the Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) where you can choose your faculties and plan out your timetable the way you want which I think is neat. There will difference between the Vellore campus and Chennai campus in terms of overall in-time and stuff. It would be much better if you would opt for the Vellore campus.
Well if you get into BITS or IIT go for that 🙂
