Others have already answered if it’s required to take up the MS course from BITS Pilani and so I’m not answering that part of the question. When it comes to the degree that you’ll be getting from BITS, there will be no difference in the graduate certificate that a distance-learning student and a regular student gets. There will be no special mention about the distance-learning program in the certificate. So I don’t think there will be any “biasing” you were referring to. And if it’s long-run, then I don’t think it matters at all as most of the interviewers interview your skills & depth of your subject and take your work-ex into account but won’t get biased just by looking at your certificate. Hope this helps! Cheers!
