Please read the provisions in detail. As far as i have read and understood the NEXT exam is a MBBS final year exam . It is not an entrance test but a licensing test . The press release does not talk about NEXT being used for admission. So this idea of NEXT replacing NEET PG is more of a rumour . In all likely hood there will be a seperate entrance after NEXT . NEXT is only to replace the final year mbbs exam . The pattern , syllabus etc remains unclear . All the more reason to not panic is that the exam will only come into effect three years after passing the bill . So if you are 1.5 yrs into your mbbs course or more , you have nothing to worry.

Now that the NEET PG is replaced by the NEXT exam as on July 2019, how will the MBBS doctors who are currently doing their internship apply for PG? Will they have to write their MBBS Final exam again?
