I try to explain you my taking my example only.
I got rank 33000 this year in mains which is not considered good but then also I am ok because my dream from high school onward s to become a civil servant .
coming to college selection I first downloaded the jossa app from playstore from which I got name of all nit,iiit,and gftis which I can get through jee mains ranking . Then I sort it out in terms of Nirf and other ranking . Then I go through each college details which are good from collegepravesh site from google and naming which college or branch I am getting through this rank and sort them out in a separate list (here comes the cuttoff of special round which u don’t get easily everywhere and even you don’t comes to know that You are getting these good colleges also) . For selecting college from special round I checked it’s cutoff of previous 5 years to be confirme that yes I am getting this college.
It is quite time taking but yes instead of believing on other to tell me which colleges I will be getting this will be more satisfactory for me .
