Well truly saying you can get CSE in VIT,Vellore but at a very high price. Let me give you my experience. I gave VITEEE 2019 and received rank in 20900s. Just like you I searched a lot on different sites but got different answer. Well I was worried till the day of counselling. Well now coming to the main topic.
- CSE :
When I got my chance to select a branch, CSE had few seats (50–60) left in Vellore campus for the fourth category which means fees of about 25 Lacs for four years. There were few seats left in Chennai campus for second category. That’s moderate fees near about 15 Lacs for four years. Well these are stats for CSE branch without any specialization as for these branches only fourth and fifth categories were left in both the campus. Many seats were left in Bhopal and Amravati campus for the first category (more than 100).
- IT :
IT is available only in Vellore campus. There were some 70–80 seats available for the third category when I got my chance.
- ECE :
This is the second most opted branch in VIT. More than 50 seats were available in 3rd category in Vellore campus when I got my chance. Less than 10 seats were available in Chennai campus for the first category. Again a lot of seats were available in Bhopal and AP campus.
- For other branches like EEE, Mechanical, Biotechnology, Civil, etc a lot of seats were available in first category even in Vellore campus.
