After reading this answer, Switch off your smartphone and then pick up a book and start learning(studying), and if you feel it again then read this answer again, don’t OVERTHINK about your prep.
Neet 2022 will be my third attempt in neet and I scored 424 in my second attempt(YEP I am an ordinary student). From my past 2 attempts what I figured out is that:
Everyone is feeling the same thing that you are feeling now, no one knows for sure about their rank and selection. So everyone is doing the same thing which is “studying”. So it doesn’t matter how is your preparation going because the sentence “my preparation is not going well” is subjective means it depends upon the subject(student). Maybe for you just completing 2 chapters a day could be bad and for someone 2 chapters a day could be immensely high and like a triumph.
So what you have to do is plan out your day and study/learning schedule(don’t make it unachievable) and try to follow it, if you fail re-schedule your day make a new plan do it again and again. Even if you fail you will learn something new. And never get demotivated which I learned in my second attempt, I revised my whole 12th Biology+Human Physiology syllabus in one day including too many question banks(I mean tons of questions) which looked impossible
