I live in Silver heights, a co-ed hostel with separate portions for boys and girls with a common mess.
The hostel has small quarter type houses, with 7 people in each flat.(3 on ground floor, 4 on first floor.)
It has daily bus transport from inside the hostel available at fixed times to-and-fro for college.
Pros of my hostel,
- Wide open green areas,feels good to stand out on the terrace.
- Calm Atmosphere.
- Area for walking, jogging, playing.
- There are lots of students here, so you’re bound to find some amazing people.
- Indoor canteen,Gym, General Shop.
- No definitive entering time in hostel(too much late might not be allowed)
Cons of my hostel,
- It has a slight internet problem[sometimes the speed can be painfully low,but that might be fixed if you are a techie 😉 ]
- Getting to the main road for lifts to city or to college takes about 15 min. of downward walking, or to come back to hostel,i(It is located on an elevated area,and thus to get to the main road you have to walk a little bit.)
