I believe that In VIT if you are from Core CSE/IT then you have a lot of opportunities as more than 300 companies visit the campus for placements and for the placement point of view I would advise one to choose the Vellore campus. An average student can bag a package from 4–6 lakhs and people who are pretty good can try them a chance on companies with packages 10 LPA and above. Selection Process is rigorous you need to be extremely you really need to hone your skillset to get in these top companies. You need to a fucking good ‘CODER’ to get into these firms as they have 2–3 coding rounds and then 1–2 technical interview rounds+HR.
