Is Vellore institute of technology famous for getting students introduced to drugs?

I am surprised.. How and from where do you get such false facts and informations.
I guess VIT would be having lesser drug intake than Most of the private institutions and government institutions.
Drug intake leads to direct expulsion from college.
Moreover,often officers are found checking students at the main gate and subways for alcohol intake as well. They use a blow pump for this purpose. If caught alcoholic,you are suspended for 1 semester
