There is absolutely no ragging in IIT Patna. We have strict anti-ragging rules here. The wardens perform surprise checks at the starting of the year to make sure that no ragging takes place. There are strict punishments against those found guilty (including expulsion from the college).
Even if there were no rules , I doubt any ragging would take place. We seniors are here to help you and guide you, not make your life miserable when you obviously are going through a lot by staying away from home for the first time.
So don’t worry. There is no ragging in IIT Patna. And if you do decide to join it – Welcome to the family!!!
