You wish!
In my first year I was called by a senior (who already knew me) to pull my leg. There was a group of 5 people who was the audience to my show. I was asked to give an introduction in shuddh hindi. Which I comfortably did. Then they asked me my branch. Its Mechanical Engineering. One of them said “Hindi me bol bete.” I recalled the board outside MNIT and the hindi word for Technology was प्रौद्योगिकी. I responded मशीनी प्रौद्योगिकी instantly. They thought I was correct as they themself did not know it. But it’s actually मशीनी अभियांत्रिकी.
Then they dropped a pen on the ground and one of them exactly said.. “Iss pen ko g@@#d se utha” I was taken aback by that and it took me 2 minutes to calm down. My senior friend said “Ghabra mat, utna mushkil nhi nahi hai jitna tu soch raha hai.” I got more worried and i started imagining them doing it the previous year. “Jaldi jaldi.. poori raat nahi hai” said another. I just assumed it was a trick question and held the pen with my hand from its end ( from where we remove the refill in some pens) and placed it on the table gently. The one who dropped the pen on the ground turned to my senior friend and said “Banda sahi hai!” Turned to me and said.. “Peeta hai?” 😉 That was the only intro i faced. It ended up great!
