Is the information science (ISE) branch recognised outside India, and is it considered the same as the computer science (CSE) branch?

Yeah it’s almost the same.

Computer science is a subject which comprises of both software and hardware subjects whereas information science only focuses on software.

But trust me there’s no difference when it comes to placements and stuff.

Information science has been separately made to make more student take admission.
