The environment at MUJ is definitely better than VIT Vellore . The endtime ( before which you have to be in your blocks ) in MUJ is 11:00 pm for both boys and girls. The interblock movement is allowed in MUJ only up to the common room and the jogging track . The atmosphere is very lively and full of enthusiasm as the students usually try to interact with others as much as possible . You have to be inside the hostel premises before 9 pm , though it can be extended to 9:15 sometimes . There is usually a bi- monthly checking of rooms compared to the everyday checking in VIT Vellore .
Hence MUJ is not as conservative as VIT Vellore as long as there is no repeated violation of rules by the students and thankfully it is not so till now .
