See the highest package for COE was 39 lakhs and the average for COE was around 10 to 11 lakhs.
But it all jot down to the point that no company wants morons. So either be good at your soft skill so that you are able to sell yourself or be very good in technical aspect so that the company offering core jobs come up to you.
You will get to know at the end of 3rd year that you are actually good at technical or not because the 3rd year students sit for placements and internships with the 4th year, so if you are able to convince the recruiter that you are appropriate for the job ,even if its for a small amount then you do have a scope of doing really good when you sit for your placement in 4th year.
Also placements in thapar are approx. 100% for COE. So placement is not a worry but a placement above 14–15 lakhs is tough and you need to be good in whatever you do for that ,not necessarily be the technical aspect only.
Average Package for all the streams was around 6–7lakshs.
