Is Tamil students has more occupancy in Delhi colleges and universities?

Arvind Kejriwal should shut up and stop this nonsense. DU and JNU are Central Universities and they cannot impose this state quote for these universities. If Kejriwal wants get full statehood for Delhi, stop getting funds from central government for DU, fund it solely through Delhi government and then impose his Delhi students quota. Until it happens he has no right to complain about students coming outside Delhi.

JNU is a freaking central institution with its own budget allocation. It is only located in Delhi, does not mean it is meant exclusively for Delhi. It is funded by taxpayers all over India. If only Tamils clear the entrance exams for a particular subject in JNU and meet all criteria for admission, then they get admission. Simple as that. But that is not the case. JNU is much more diverse because it has students from all the states. That is the whole freaking objective. It is meant to provide top class education for poorer sections across the country, not just Delhi students.

Delhi government funds about 28 colleges in DU (12 completely and rest only with 5%). Go ahead and provide reservations for Delhi students in these 12 colleges (which still would require an amendment because these are affiliated to DU, which is a central university).

TN reserved 85% of the seats to state board students too (stuck down by HC and SC). BUT that too was only in medical colleges and that only for state funded medical colleges and only through NEET marks. We did not go around asking 85% reservation for TN in central institutions like JIPMER, NIFT, National Law School etc.
