Its lack of popularity is due to the fact that national rankings put weightage on parameters such as list of publications of faculty and infrastructure and the likes. People generally look at rankings to assess which school they want to go to. So RV suffers in popularity, especially outside Bangalore. It’s through and through a placements school. Almost everyone gets placed and they get placed in really good companies.
