Yes, LPU is a good option for B tech CSE. Following points justify my answer.
Faculty: Every college has both good and bad faculty, LPU has it too but here faculty teaches using PPT. Faculties are given lecture wise targets and topic to be covered and after every lecture faculty has to update online what they have taught. So every faculty here gives its best. If any faculty is not teaching properly you can report complaint against him/her. Strict action will be taken against them if found guilty.
Placement: Placement here is very good. I will say its one of the best among the private colleges in India. LPU is full of opportunities, it depends on you how you utilize them. Recently CSE/IT students have secured offers from Amazon at a dream package of Rs. 28 Lac per annum.
