Is KIIT better than SRM? I left SRM counselling (was getting CSE) and took admission in KIIT, CSCE.

Great decision.

DISCLAIMER— I’M NOT A STUDENT OF EITHER OF THE COLLEGES. I WAS ELIGIBLE FOR THE COUNCELLING OF BOTH THE COLLEGES BUT I DID NOT TURN UP.

I have done a lot of research. Talked to seniors and read reviews on quora. What I have concluded is that all private colleges are the same. Their main motive is profit maximisation. The placement packages you get are not at all resonating with the fee structure.

I’m not against the students who join such institutes. In a long run it is your talent and skills that matter and not the name of the institute .

SRM main campus is fine rest all campus are garbage. They charge you so much and do not provide equivalent facilities. Even in the main campus the professors are least bothered about teaching. And the pathetic grading system of this college. If will be very difficult for you to pursue MBA or higher studies after you pass out from this college because they don’t allow students to score well even if they work hard .

KIIT on the other hand has almost the same placement scenario. But at least the fee structure and facilities resonate. Faculties are good. Package might not be great but you can switch over or go for higher studies.
