Is it worth to spend ₹20-25 lakhs for studying in BITS?

  • 0

I’ll give you my point view.

Choosing a bachelor degree is a very difficult task because you’re pretty unsure of where you want to land. Spending ₹20–25 lakh on any bachelor degree is not worth it unless you get a package of atleast 15 lakh on average. Don’t believe in the stats shown on the internet for any goddam college’s placements. Statistics is a clever field, they’ll end up projecting good no matter what.

Again it depends on your family’s economic condition. If you are going to take a loan for this amount, you’ll need to repay it by giving around ₹30k p.m. for around 10 years, plus the interest for 4 years.

Yes, it’s really big.

Also talking about uncertainty, if you then decide to study abroad for your masters or even choose an expensive masters program like an MBA, you’ll have to spend big. You will be bound to take decisions in your life if you have a financial burden over you when you’re just, probably 22–23.
