Is it worth to join BMSCE for ISE through management quota in 2020? My CET rank is 6.7k. If I study well, can I expect 100% placement with a good package?

Joining ISE in BMSCE is a great option. No doubt in that.

I would request you to not waste your parents hard earned money. If you really want to study on your own from 1st year onwards then only take this option. Else consider smth else.

You can’t be dependent on the teachers over there. They won’t teach you much. It’s like learn and clear exams. And if you need a good package you need to be on your own.

If your CGPA is around 9 then you can get everything you want. Majority of the companies will be in the range of 9–12lpa. But there will be around 10–15 companies with package of 12–25lpa. And ISE will be eligible for all of them.

Placements in BMSCE is heavily dependent on luck. You need to be patient and time yourself properly. You need to apply according to the job description and compensation. Don’t apply for all randomly.

Good Luck!!!
