Is it worth paying 14 lakhs for BTech at Bennett University?

  • 0

It is not worth paying 14 lakh for fee & another few lakhs for other expenses in a university which is struggling so hard to fill even 200 B.Tech students with needed aptitude.

They claim so high about faculty, research, this and that and this all is nothing more than empty marketing gimmicks. It is a very open fact that research ecosystem does not exist in India and even IITs have this problem. The research mindset for deep engineering and technology is completely different.

Most of the reviews one finds about these universities are from 1st year students who are in no position to give any direction about research, faculty etc. They could speak about these things once they pass out and enter in the real corporate world.

Few other universities who were promoted by corporate even struggling to provide 3–4 lakh jobs to their passouts. Whatever placements they have, 90 percent are in IT services cos. The same cos recruit from colleges from where you can do engineering in 5–6 lakh.

The reality is that we don’t have enough students who are academically prepared for deep technology learning that would be needed for jobs in next 4–5 years. Our school system is not producing more than 20000–30000 students per year who are fit for learning deep technology that would prevail in next few years.
